The UHCW Book Club is Back!
What better way to kick off the National Year of Reading than to announce the return of the UHCW Book Club: a space for readers across the trust to come together and discover the power of storytelling!
For our first gathering back, we’ve chosen Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Törzs. The story follows two estranged half-sisters who have spent their lives guarding a collection of magical books, only to be drawn back together to uncover secrets far larger and more dangerous than they ever expected.
Copies of Ink Blood Sister Scribe are available to borrow now from the library helpdesk, so pop by and pick one up while they’re still in stock.
If you’re not already registered with us, it’s quick and easy to join. You can register at the library helpdesk when you come to collect your copy of the above, or by completing the online registration form. You’ll then have access to all of our resources to support you at work, rest or study.
Time, Date, Location
Join us in the wellbeing area of the library for our first meeting on Tuesday 14th April, 12.30pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
If you can't join us on the day, you are welcome to share your thoughts on our Book Club Padlet: an online space to allow you to add your comments and discussion points about the book.
Curious what others are saying?
Get a feel for the book before we meet by checking out reviews on Goodreads, but beware of spoilers! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/62854842-ink-blood-sister-scribe
