The 4th-10th October is Libraries Week - an annual celebration which showcases the best that UK libraries have to offer. This year's focus is on celebrating the role that libraries play in supporting active and engaged communities.

Next week we'll be hosting an Open Day to mark the occasion and we invite staff to drop by and explore how we can support you as part of the UHCW community. Whether it is ensuring you have the best available evidence to deliver exemplary patient care, supporting you with your professional development or simply offering a quiet place to study, the library has an important role to play as part of #TeamUHCW and we'd love it if you can stop by and celebrate #LibrariesWeek with us!

On Tuesday 5th October 2021, drop-in to the library between 10am and 2pm to find out more about what we do. We will be showcasing all of our services, including our great fiction and wellbeing collections, our lunchtime book club and all of the e-resources we have to support you at work or study. You'll also be able to meet different members of the library team, who will be on hand to answer any of your questions about our knowledge skills training programme, writing patient information leaflets and the CEBIS evidence searching service.

If you make a special trip to visit us at lunchtime, there will be plenty of refreshments for you available between 12pm and 2pm to welcome you to the library, whether you are a library regular or a newcomer.
