To mark this year's Libraries Week (7th-13th October) we're inviting you to our annual Library Open Day!
Drop by the library on the first floor of CSB on Tuesday 8th Oct between 11am-2pm to find out more about what we are, what we do and how we can support you at work, study or your wellbeing!
What's on:
- 11am: a very special guest talk from Medical Statistician, Dr Siew Wan Hee. If you have a pressing stats question you need answered or would like to learn the basics, come alone! No booking required.
- 12pm: a series of lightning library talks from UHCW LKS staff on various aspects of our service, from CEBIS evidence searching to sustainability, there'll be something for everyone. Again, no booking required.
- 500+ book giveaway – We're doing it again - come and have a browse while stocks last and give ex-library books a new home!
- Seed Library competition - As it is #GreenLibrariesWeek, you could be in with a chance of winning a gardening goody bag if you enter our mascot naming competition! More information on this to follow on the Library News page.
- Cake, tea and coffee – Join us for cake and a cup of something hot. There'll be posters, activities and people to talk to.
Can't make it?
Invite us to an upcoming meeting or study day. We'll happily come to you and speak about our range of support and services. Please share with your colleagues. All staff and students are welcome!
